Chillies: Dried or Fresh?

Posted by mrkooks on November 2, 2007

How do you know when to use fresh or dried chillies?

  • Fresh Chillies have a crunchy taste. They are great for fresh sauces that are prepared on the day of cooking.
  • Dried Chillies have flavor that fits more stews and restaurant-style sauces, curries and marinades.

Just remember to start slow if you are not accustomed to eating spicy food. Enjoy!

Noodles with Vegetable Curry

Posted by mrkooks on September 6, 2007

My kids wanted Indian noodles today, so I boiled the noodles like usual, but instead of the seasoning pack that came with it, we added some salt, pepper and Vegetable Curry. They loved it! Try it.

Vegetable Curry

Mr. Kooks Vegetable Curry

Mr. Kooks Vegetable Curry is a wonderful Coconut based curry and my kids love it with Ramen Noodles. Just a couple of spoons of Mr. Kooks Vegetable Curry with red onions, bell pepper, gives the regular noodle a flavorful taste.
